La terre nous la voyons enfin d'une autre façon, commentaires en anglais et photos d'art. Le fondateur québécois du Cirque du Soleil nous épate. Une terre magique, torturée dans des creux et ses bosses et bien sûr ses océans. Vous pouvez aussi acheter sur Amazon les dvd des excellents spectacles du Cirque du Soleil.

Beautiful book but, although it was shrink-wrapped in plastic it did not appear to be new. Some of the corners were banged in and there were indented lines on the cover as if someone had been using it as a base for writing on. If it was new I am thinking it had been stored away not very carefully for quite some time.

Sure the view of Earth from space can result in beautiful pictures. And the book is simply just that: a collection of pictures - one after the other. No text, just the pictures' location on Earth. Maybe that's what art is supposed to be, something only to be looked at and admired. But what those pictures depict can be traced to geophysical processes and/or human intervention. Unfortunately no explanation is given as to what we are looking at, let alone how such beautiful sceneries came to being.Definitively not worth the price.As a cheaper and educative alternative, log on to NASA's "The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth" at eol.jsc.nasa.gov. The pictures are just as beautiful and the accompanying text can teach you a thing or two.
